Over the past few weeks, we’ve been busy behind the scenes candle testing, and we’re delighted to share that a new soy candle with a brand-new fragrance will soon be added to our range.
Introducing a new candle is never something we rush. Every product we release needs to meet the same level of quality, performance and care that our customers expect from us. This is why candle testing plays such an important role in our process, and why it can take time before a new fragrance is ready to launch.
The Candle Testing Process
Before a candle ever makes it to our online store, it goes through extensive testing in real-life settings. This includes testing how the candle burns from the first light to the final hours, how the wax melts, and how the wick performs throughout the burn.
We also pay close attention to scent throw — both cold throw (the fragrance you notice before lighting the candle) and hot throw (the fragrance released while the candle is burning). Our goal is to create a candle that gently fills a room with fragrance without being overpowering, making it suitable for everyday use.
Through multiple test burns, we fine-tune each element to ensure the candle burns cleanly and evenly, providing a consistent experience from start to finish.
A Brand-New Fragrance
This new candle features a fragrance that brings something fresh and exciting to our range, while still complementing the scents our customers already love. It has been carefully selected to create a welcoming atmosphere, whether you’re enjoying a quiet evening at home, hosting friends, or simply adding a touch of comfort to your space.
We wanted this fragrance to feel versatile — something that works throughout the year and suits a variety of settings. It’s a scent that feels comforting yet uplifting, familiar yet a little different.
Why We Use Soy Wax
As with all of our candles, this new addition is made using 100% soy wax. Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource that offers a cleaner and longer-lasting burn compared to traditional paraffin wax. It also allows fragrance to be released more evenly, helping to create a balanced and enjoyable scent experience.
Choosing soy wax is part of our commitment to quality and to creating products you can feel good about using in your home.
Almost Ready for Launch
Now that testing is complete, we’re in the final stages of preparation. This includes perfecting the presentation, finalising labels, and getting everything ready to add this new candle to our online store.
